The Morre Team

John Morre is our managing partner.  He is a Certified Public Accountant.  John has a Masters Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and has received the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA.  He has been practicing in Marin County since 1979. In addition to an array of professional memberships, John serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and conducts classes and seminars on tax and financial planning issues.  John is a native of San Francisco and he and his wife are residents of Novato.

 

 

Linda Panichelli, Partner, is a Certified Public Accountant and has been with the company since 1989.  Linda holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University and received her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University.  Linda has a strong background in small business entities and handles the accounting, tax and planning needs of many of our small business clients. Linda resides in Petaluma with her partner Jay.

 

 

 

Harry Walwyn is an Enrolled Agent who joined our tax staff in 2000.  He is a retired fraud inspector with the San Francisco Police Department.  Harry was born and raised in San Francisco, and has lived in Novato for over 25 years with his wife and two children.  He is an avid hiker, sailor and fisherman, and after tax season, a world traveller.

 

 

 

Lillian Forcier had 23 years of CPA firm experience before joining Morre & Compny, LLP in 2004.  Lillian has both a  accounting and tax background.  She has a Bachelors Degree in French from the University of California, Berkeley.  Don't forget to say "bonjour" when you talk with her!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michael McCartney has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1979.  Michael received both a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Montana State University, Bozeman, MT.  Michael has a strong background working with small business entities in both accounting and taxes.  In recent years, Michael has completed tax returns for all types of business, individuals and trusts. He has lived in Santa Rosa for the past 4 years.

 

 

 

 

 

Douglas Woodcox is a Certified Public Accountant and  is a graduate of Sonoma State University. He was previously with Eckhoff Accountancy Corporation and Boerio & Company, where he rose to Tax Manager.  Prior to joining Morre & Company, LLP in 2008, Doug had been the Chief Financial Officer for a private company for seven years. Doug lives in Cotati.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jane Ferrante is our accounting supervisor.  She has worked in the field of accounting for more the 25 years.  Her past experience includes managing a retail accounting office and having her own bookkeeping business.  She has worked with John Morre since 1984. Proving business and pleasure do sometimes mix, they are married.

 

 

 

 

 

Darla Donovan is John Morre's assistant.  She has been with the company since the firm's move to Novato in 1996.  Darla, with her husband have been residents of Novato since 1983.

 

 

 

 

 

Judy McBride is our office assistant.  She joined the company in 2005.  Juldy is also the administrative assistant for the Marin Bookkeepers Referral Network.  Judy and her husband live in Sebastopol.
